why do the women never have to take a DNA test to see if its their child?

    Favourite answer:

You idiot. They know whether or not the child is the woman’s because it usually has the same surname as her!

If a 3 yr old starts talking into thin air, as if someone is there, what should I do?

    Favourite answer:

    You do nothing at all.

Children have good imaginations and although some may play pretend, others have imaginary friends.

Howsoever, believe it or not, there is yet another explanation why children seem to be talking to "someone" because they ARE having a real conversation. You see, children have no preconceived ideas or inhabitions, nor are they very skeptical. With open eyes and their innocence, children have been known to see and play with and talk to spirits. This is not as scary as it seems because remember, children know nothing about "ghosts", therefore, they have nothing to fear. Often young children will be visited by deceased grandparents, siblings, aunts and uncles. Don't be alarmed when your child seems to be talking into thin air. Rather, ask who your child is talking with and don't be surprised if she names someone you know who has died.

My friend's mom died suddenly. So, it was a big shock and sudden loss. My friend's 4 year old daughter was very close to her grandmother and it was explained that grandma went up to heaven. She told her mommy that grandma visited her and they played with her dolls. A few months later, the little girl told her mommy that grandma had a party dress for her in her closet at home. Sure enough, they checked and the party dress was there. My friend needed to know her mom was okay and this incident helped herthrough the grief and sorrow of losing her mother.

I don't care what anyone says because I know better and am a believer.

Will my ex get custody at paternity court if he hasn't been in the babies lives or helped with him at all?

So to keep it short....I have twins with a very toxic person. He left when I was 5 months pregnant and I decided to not let him back in. It has been all chaos and drama since. My babies are now almost 3 months old. Paternity court is in a few months. In the state of Wisconsin, will the judge grant the father any custody even if he has not been in the babies lives at all or has helped in any way? He hasn't wanted to help or anything but he says he wants to. He plays mind games quite a bit and I feel like I have kids with a complete stranger... I tried to co parent but he is a narccist. They are impossible.

What to do when you need a break from baby?

Since day one I’ve been with my now 9month old literally 24/7 (do not work) and I just want at least an hour away from her! I suffer from severe ppd because of the situation with the person I chose to have a baby with. I feel so bad and depressed about myself because I can’t wear what I want or go where I want because I am constantly being judged because I’m a “mom” now and need to act like it. The dad is not involved and his family doesn’t like me, I have no family around and have ZERO friends. DaycarMy mother was constantly asking me when I would give her a grandchild my brother asking when I’m going to have kids so I thought things would be different but when they are around they refuse to be left with my child and she is a great baby but I just need a break and i get in moods where I’m so angry and it seems like nobody understands. Just need a few words of encouragement or some advice because I’m at the point that I can’t take it anymore I’m so alone

Do women who never had kids age more slowly than mothers?

    Favourite answer:

It's more that women who put their bodies through growing another human inside of us and then face the next years with little to no sleep do significant damage to their bodies - resulting in looking aged. It sucks the life out of a woman!

    Should I just move on?

I'm due in 4 days. He lives in another state right now and I reminded him about the time and the address. He sent me this..."Good day. Momma seriously I'm telling u this now the devil dont want me to come down. And it's really f up. I understand what u saying but I'm mentally going through something right now and I really hate 75% of these people...

As much as I really tried to come down there but the devil dont care about the situation. " He pretty much was talking about his car. I asked him about the train bus or a plane...he told me he's not getting on none of them. My heart dropped. Like I been crying all day.

Why are there so many “mommy shamers”?

    Favourite answer:

Good question. Unfortunately, you're correct that when you become a mom, you basically can't please anyone, *someone* will always have something negative to say and will blame you for things you have little to no control over. You just kinda have to learn to be confident in your decisions, and understand that not all parenting strategies work for all kids. Even kids within the same family can have totally different needs, and parents just have to walk the fine line of treating their kids equally while also providing them with what they need as individuals.

Can my wife get pregnant ?

    Favourite answer:

There is good chance that if you can get sperm into her that she can get pregnant.

If she was 66 and you were 28 , the chances would be much less.

    Honest opinions on child support?

Are you for it or against it if you could provide for the child but the dad doesn’t do anything to help or see the child?? I feel like it’s not fair just because the mom can care for the child that the dad shouldn’t be on child support because it takes two to bring a life in this world. What are your thoughts

My food stamp caseworker wouldn't return my calls so how do I report her?

I called like 9 times and I remember leaving at least 2 voicemails. I needed to schedule a hearing because they claimed we weren't eligible anymore despite him being the only one working. Now I owe $308 in food stamps because that freaking moron wouldn't answer. She claimed they sent that letter the beginning of February 2020, but I didn't receive it until like mid March. I have proof I called and she said she never got any of those voicemails. This bs is why I didn't want to ask for help in the first place.

    Told to get tubes tied?

Is it normal for my boyfriend of 40 to tell me to grt my tunes tied because he wishes never to have kids with me and I should never get my hopes up? I would love to after I finish college next year and start a career to start a family of my own. It feels like a lot at 22 to be told I should never have kids... I feel like I would make a great mom one day as I have straight a's, never miss anything, go to school full-time, keep the house cleaned, animals are well-taken care of, do surveys for amazon, and I work full-time.  It feels heartbreaking I can never have my own family even though I am already doing so much after moving out of state to be with him. It even hurts more being told to tie my tubes to prevent a pregnancy at all.

Is it weird for a teen to want a reborn baby?

Well I’m 18, but I’d still consider myself a teen. I’m an only child and grew up with no family around. I wasn’t around babies or little kids growing up. But I’ve always loved babies and have always wanted to care for one. I doubt anyone will let me babysit since I have no experience. And I still have a long ways to have a baby if I ever have one. I looked into those realistic looking reborn dolls where you take care of them like a real baby, and some of them were very cute. I know they can be pricey, but I have my own money and would love to have one of these. Does this sound like a dumb/useless idea?
