  • Were the early 2000s a funny and colored time?

I remember being a kid, playing crash and spyro, listening to red hot chili peppers. I remeber pokemon and all those cartoons. It was a fun time. Much more fun than now. Maybe it was that the late 90s and early 00s were different and funny?

  • Why aren't public restrooms fully enclosed?

Don't know why I thought of this recently, but isn't it weird that restroom stalls in America have a foot tall gap at the floor and ceiling? I mean, how many times has a single mom been caught with her pants down when their toddler decides to play hide and seek! Plus, I think that would help provide privacy when someone decides to answer the phone while we're peeing...

Also, if public bathrooms were fully enclosed locking stalls, would you feel comfy it being unisex? In my head, the only thing being shared in that case, are the sinks.

(I don't want to hear the argument about transgenders using whatever bathroom. You can never tell if the same gendered person in the stall beside you is homosexual or not. From my research, sexual preference and biological differences don't play a huge role in predatory behavior.)

  • How to heal after being radicalized?

I was radicalized 5 years ago by a Christian extremist group/cult. It was at my lowest point in life, and they told me they cared for me and took me in. I then began believing what they told me about life (the devil controls the world, TV is a sin, smartphones are sin, video games are sin, everything is sin!) I dropped all technology and started wearing long sleeves and stopped cussing to be pure. I was so radicalized that I would pray all day and what little I did leave my home I was in public “testifying and witnessing for Jesus” like I was taught. Years went by while I was like this and I finally realized “what the hell am I doing?” After realizing this, I started trying to be like my old self with my old values not influenced by the Bible.  How do I get back to my old self? I’ve been away from the extremist people for close to two years but I still struggle with some of their radical views that was programmed inside of me. Help?

  • what graduate fields are good for a bachelors in sociology? ?

I have a Sociology degree, and am very good with communicating sociological issues by comparing and contrasting through writing. I enjoy understanding different perspectives and tying them into how society works as a whole. I've gotten feedback from professors saying that some of my papers have been excellent work as if a philosopher has written it. Ideally I'd like to write about sociological issues. I'm just not sure what would be the best career choice for that, or what category that would fit in. If anyone has any suggestions for what graduate programs may be best, and career options that fit that category, it'd be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance

  • I Want to Stay After Class and Talk With People...?

Not sure, but I am scared to...like, I get nervous and don't know what to say, but I want to connect more with people. Maybe secure dates, etc. but not too focused on that more than widening pool of like-minded people to speak with about a variety of interests and possibly make/collab on projects together later in the line.

    How to make that happen?

I don't think shyness is a weakness- don't spill that kind of garbage. Some people are introverted and some are extroverted and there are positives and negatives to both.

It's good to have a range.

Sidenote: Thinking about getting into acting or Toastmaster's.
