  • Why is my teacher treating me like this?

There was a dance at school and the next day she bragged about it and said "I danced with her! I danced with her!" When I came back from summer, she said I grew taller over the summer to the whole class. When I got a haircut, she said it looks good. Every time she sees me, she always says hi then my name.

I began to fall in love with her, I thought she felt the same way. She is divorced with 2 kids. Is she treating me like this because I am so shy?

  • Is it rude to apologize to someone who didn't respond back to your question/opinion that you were asking them?

I do admit whenever my friends and acquaintances don't respond back to my questions/opinions on Facebook I am very quick to apologize to them and ask them if everything is alright between us.

That's my way of letting them know there is no hard feelings between us and that I wish them well.

  • My one roommate does not contribute at all, what can I do about this?

I have two roommates right now who are my brothers. We all live together and we agreed that everything would be split amongst us. My one brother is excellent with finances. My other one does not want to contribute at all.

I have gone to the grocery store and bought paper products the last 4 times. Not to mention I pay for all lunches and dinners. He says he does not need to contribute even though he uses all of our products. We got into 2 huge blow up fights yesterday.

What can I do about this?

  • How do I deal with this coworker?

She's not even my boss and works for another dept.  She has to work in my office due to limited space.  We're both on the same pay scale too, but she keeps saying, "If you keep smoking like that, how will you ever conceive?"   She knows I'm trying to conceive.  Then I if I'm two minutes or four minutes late in the mornings (I always make the minutes up anyway), she'll say, "You're four minutes late.  I thought you weren't coming in" and when another coworker wasn't well a few months ago and took a few days off, I asked her, "Are you feeling better now?" and this coworker said, "No, don't ask her yet if she's OK".

  • Was this teacher right?

She knows I'm shy and she keeps telling me I need to talk more. She said, "When you don't talk to people, they don't know what you're thinking. You need to talk!" She even mocked me in front of the whole school and said, "Sometimes I just want to slap her because she just stares!"

Was she being helpful at all by repeatedly telling me I need to talk? Or could she just have left me alone and let me be the way I want to be?

  • Why did my coworker stop talking to me?

I used to greet het and say hello, but then I stopped. She still kept trying to talk to me after that though. And when she needed to tell me something that was work related, she told me. I still don't talk to her, and she hasn't said one word to me, even if it is something work related. I guess she just gave up. Why did she stop trying?

  • I think my neighbor is watching me? ?

I am a 20 year old female living with my parents. a few months ago my parents had advised me to shut my blinds and window at night because they noticed our neighbor stands around my side of the fence a lot. I had simply told them he tends to go there to have private phone calls or smoke, so we all didn’t think much of it. as of late I notice his voice come out of nowhere on a phone call, or a glass bottle, presumably alcohol, be thrown into their garbage bins on that same side. today I was studying when I was watching their plants move from the strong winds through the cracks of our fence. it was until then that I noticed another figure moving, I quickly pulled out my phone and filmed through my window to the best of my ability and saw that it was a person shifting from side to side. I was too scared to film any better videos so I shut my window loudly and closed my blinds and I noticed that they were immediately gone. scary part of it is that they made no noise. my dog tends to bark near my window outside too, at night especially. should I wait to catch them again before telling anybody? thing is we are really friendly with our neighbors so I’m unsure how I could tell them that their dad is a creep...

  • What will happen to flyaway when yahoo ends?

Does anyone remember her? She was the one who posted about giving a surprise visit to her aunt for 2 weeks without paying for anything, AND sleeping with her aunt's husband. She also told stories about her lesbian crush with her teacher and about some old Zumba lady in class. And also about sending 12-13 page long letters to her friends and wondered why they disappeared.

  • Should I say my coworker's name when I talk to her?

She is really nice and probably said my name 10 times in her sentences when she talked to me, when I didn't even say her name even once. Some people complained to me about this, and they said, "Do you even know my name? I notice you never say my name or call me by my name." Should I start calling my coworker by her name?

  • How was this unprofessional behavior?

I work for a restaurant, and recently we had an unusually warm sunny day for April. During my lunch break, I elected to sit outside under a nearby tree next to the restaurant and study a schoolbook. The shift manager suddenly came out with this panicked look on her face and said "Listen, there's a serious emergency inside, I have to send you home right now--I already clocked you out." I asked what was up, but she said "You're okay! You're okay! But you gotta go right now, I'll see you tomorrow next shift. Which locker was yours? I'll bring your stuff to your car."

The following day, I got pulled into the office and advised that the restaurant owner had been on the premises and was livid to see me outside reading a book while in uniform and in plain view of customers in the dining room. She said he was going to go outside and fire me right on the spot but she managed to talk him out of it. She also said that she rushed me off the premises because if I had gone back in the restaurant, he would have screamed my face off in front of everyone. She advised me to use the breakroom or if I wanted to hang outside, to change into put on a plain shirt.

I don't get what was so unprofessional that it warranted me almost getting fired--I could see if I was outside loudly cussing on my phone in uniform or drinking a beer after a shift, but reading a book? What was so unprofessional about that? If I were a customer in the dining room, I wouldn't have cared less!
